Hi, I am not sure where to post this, but I have had an idea for two new threads that I think may work...but I may be wrong!
The first is to use the fact that we are such a huge group on this forum to good effect: I was thinking, perhaps on certain campaigns we could have a label that we could attach to mail to show that we are part of a large group to help with difficulties with organisations that fail to respond or deliberately try to give a raw deal. Obviously, I realise that it would have to be based on a case by case basis as otherwise some complaints could make the whole group look bad. But, perhaps we could have a thread where people posted their issues, and moderators would be able to say whether it met criteria to allow it to be viewed as a group concern?
The other is an embarrassing medical thread. I was thinking I come onto this site usually most days and as a result, I really trust the opinions on here. I think it would be really helpful to have a place where we could post personal things and perhaps others may be able to help...I know, it is SO not money-related and so as a result I'll not be surprised if this (are neither) are taken up...but thought it may be worth a try!

There is a definite case to be made for a petitions thread.
Martin has pioneered such important causes as the bank charge rip off.
He should arbitrate on which issues are put out for petition.
With the number of members now on this site - a standard email from each of us could have a significant impact upon future causes.
Over to Martin for some thoughts on this please.

There's a "red pen" group on DFW. I think they use a red pen to write on all the credit card /loan applications we all get in the mail and then return in freepost envelope. I think they write MSE or DFW or something.
Might be worth pursuing something on those lines???

Didn't a bunch of MSE'rs all click on a debt site to move it to the top of google listings ..This was pretty easy to do and just needed the individual to do something simple ..
Something along those lines may be worth investigating ..The one thing we really all have in common is a connection to the internet ...Surely using that power for good would be acceptable .0
