We are struggling to get a part renewed on our dishwasher which broke down after 3 months. They are having trouble getting a main unit and thermostat. We were told to continue using and its lucky there wasn't a fire! Ok so lets complain......rang currys. Told to write in and I was told I will receive an answer from correspondance team. Told there is NO WAY you can speak to a manager. Asked for HEad Office address, told I would still receive a letter from ct. OK then so how would I complain about a member of the correspondance team. Write in and one of them will answer it:mad:
There appears to be no way to forward a formal complaint past the also rans on the correspondance unit to bring it to the attention of a manager. Any ideas?

Hmmm, firstly I would say definitely don't use it, go to your local laundry place and get in done there, keeping a note of how much it is costing you and charge them for it (why should you pay?). Secondly, you could maybe find out the name of the of the managers and send in a letter with FAO Mr/Mrs blah blah and try it that way.Money Saved for a house deposit so far = July 2008 £3331.09, August £4396.40, September £5,048.37 (Target = £9,000 by July 2009) 56% there already!:j
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me!0 -

Laundromat might be a bit shocked if OP turns up laden with all their plates and dishes and sticks them all in the large load machine! lol:rotfl:I have a poll / discussion on Economy 7 / 10 off-peak usage (as a % or total) and ways to improve it but I'm not allowed to link to it so have a look on the gas/elec forum if you would like to vote or discuss.

Thanks for the laugh......tried that....everything gets intercepted by the ' professional letter writing team' irrespective of who you write to:mad: I'm glad it wasn't an expensive d/washer and will certainly NEVER purchase anything from Currys again - no matter how cheap it appears. Wish I had a complaints system like that at work!0 -
How about putting the letter in a pink envelope, spray it with perfume, and mark it "For the attention of"?
From what I've read elsewhere on MSE, that often seems to bypass the PA/writing team (is the latter just corporate slang for "bunch of chimps with typewriters"?)
