Cheapest Stansted airport parking

Hi everyone

Anyone know where I can get the cheapest pink elephant or e-parking at stanstead for May? It has to be on site as I have 3 kiddies with us so the closer the better.

Cheers

    Good afternoon,

The only onsite parking at stansted is the short stay car park, which is about £23 per day. The long stay pink elephant will probably be your best bet, moneywise, as its about £8'ish per day, there is a regular bus which drops off and picks up at the front of the terminal.

Pink Elephant Car Park is bookable through BAA and I always find the best prices on that site. The car park is within the airport boundaries and I have never been on the bus more than 15 minutes. Coming back from the airport is sometimes slower because it is dropping people off at various points around the vast parking areas.

  • Hi supersavy,

I live fairly close to Stansted (well approx 30 mins away) but can recommend the following:

    www.holidayextras.co.uk

They always seem to come up best for us if we can't organise a lift from friends or hook up with public transport. Sometimes it is actually cheaper to stay in a hotel overnight (either before you fly out or when you get back) with free car parking for 7 or 14 nights thrown in, than it is to pay for just the parking on its own!

I did a random search (not knowing when you are going and for how long), based on parking on 13 May for 7 nights and the best option it gave me was for £5.60 a night - total spend of £44.80.

See what you think. Fingers crossed, you will find something that works for you.
