How about ebay, £8 to list, we sold out folding caravan on there, then with final valuation fee it made a total of £20. This weekend there is a special offer on, £4.00 to list a vehicle ( thats whats its classed as), will probably get someone offering to buy outside of ebay, worth a try worked ok for us. x

Always used Autotrader on the net.

Sold ours last week, ebay can be a joke now, can't beat someone coming on the drive, inspecting and agreeing a price.

Ads on C4caravan, Caravanselecta, Preloved didn't get a bite - exactly the same ad and same price for £20 in the one mentioned got it sold to someone 40 miles away.

And no I have no affiliation to them.

Hi we've recently sold our caravan, it was a 3 year old one. We advertised it in many places, the only add that generated any interest was the Ebay one.

We listed it as a classified ad, which you can do as it's part of the motoring section. The ad lasts for 28 days and you don't have to pay a final value fee, so if your van is worth quite a lot you won't get stung with a high final sale fee.

From memory the ad cost us about £24

Just like any other classified add, people then contact you and arrange to come and view it etc. Be warned you will get some people who will try it on a make you a silly offer. Be realistic about it's value.

    Good Luck

Don't know if you have managed to sell your caravan yet but there is a new site which is also free. Google for touring trader, its like classifieds, I bought my van recently through it. Hope you sell it soon, now is the best time to sell......good prices ;-)

You will get more for it at the start of next years season. I would not say now is a good time to sell.

Bought mine in august and got a big discount, Dealer clearing way for next years models.
