I agree with Jane. I went ahead and bought the Sony A200 and absolutely love it. The A300 was £100 more and you get live view with that version, but already I've got used to using a viewfinder again, infact you need it to see if your pic is central and not subject to shake, etc (it has a read-out visible in the viewfinder).
If you don't like the pic you take, ditch it and start again. You don't even have to finish the film, send if off and wait a week for the postie to deliver your developed prints! Magic!
Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0
