New Driveway in the Leeds area

Hi,

I live in Leeds and Im thinking about getting my driveway done and wondered what the cheapest option would be. The driveway is a bit of a right angled triangle shape as we live on a corner plot. Its currently covered in gravel as I think the previous owners were looking at getting the driveway done before we moved in

Not got any quotes yet but from information on here it would seem that block is the most expensive, followed by tarmac and then concrete, although I might be wrong,

Does anyone know of a decent company in the Leeds area or could offer any advice.

Hi. I would say for a hard surface tarmac is the cheapest followed by plain concrete, then basic block paving then pattern imprinted concrete (PIC) the most expensive, but the range can vary wildy with PIC. Another cheaper option if loose gravel is not what you want but cannot affor the alternative is self-binding gravel. It sets fairly hard but not totally hard like concrete or tarmac. It doesn't tend to travel or move around like traditional gravels do. It comes in a variety of colours and is popular on golf courses and public access routes as a cheaper paving surface. You have probably walked on some without knowing it! ask your local Landscaper or Driveway specialist about it as a cheaper alternative.
