Best paint sprayer for fence panels?

Does anyone have any experience of a paint sprayer for fence panels. We had a pump type one but it wasn't very good, so we are now thing of a battery/electric one. Are there any gardening websites that have trusted reviews? Am going to google it now but was hoping for some guidance as I really haven't got a clue (apart from making sure there is ZERO wind when using the thing - bitter experience!)

I went to buy one these the other week but was put off.
The sprayer comes with a 3 year guarantee but on the tub of paint it says you dont need to paint it again for another 5 years.
I bought a brush instead.Cashback earned

In the days when good old creosote was still allowed, I just used one of those "rose sprayer" things with a pump up and down handle sticking out of the top. Washed out the nozzle afterwards and that was job done.
I suppose it depends on the thickness of the "paint" and if you can "water" it down a bit and make sure the liquid is not full of lumps (strain through tights or a net curtain?).0
