Still got a long way to go until it gets back to where I bought it in February.
Got to have a bit of excitement though, otherwise it would be boring

The gold correction in 2006 was 5% steeper than the one this year. Anyone who bailed out in 2006 must be kicking themselves in view of the stellar rises in 2007.
Incidentally, there is quite a lot of talk of $200 oil in 6 to 24 months. That would mean $1500 gold as there is quite a strong oil/gold coupling.0 -
Hi All, please can you advise how you go about investing in gold ?
This potential investment would be in additional to a stock market tracker and cash ISA, so it add to a nice basket of investments.
Do I need to approach my stockbroker/fund manager for this type of investment ?0 -

Stockbroker if you wanted to buy in to a gold ETF, fund manager if you want to get your hands on a fund that invests in gold-producing companies.
