Does anyone know if the opticians are open today?

My DD has got her first black eye :rolleyes: bouncing on the trampoline. She has woke up saying her eye is blurry, but specsavers phone is just ringing and ringing. Does anyone know if opticians are open today?

    even if the store is open the optician probably won't be working.
    these things always seem to happen when everything is shut.
    why not ring nhs 24?

    If they are open today, it is unlikely to be until 10.00am. But you want a doctor, not an optician!

    If your daughter has a black eye, the opticians will just tell you to come back when the swelling has gone down.

    If you are worried, take her to casualty.

    Thanks for your replies - I have kept phoning and they have just answered and although they are fully booked they said they to bring her at 10:30 when they open and they will see her.
