Can I use superglue inside a fridge. will it explode?

Basically a tiny, tiny bit of plastic that kept a shelf on the door in place has snapped off and got lost :o. Is it okay to use superglue to glue the shelf on? I don't put unwrapped food in the fridge.

Nelly - you just don't know how dippy I am! When it comes to things going horribly, horribly wrong, I haven't yet found my limit :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Actually, I saw you had fallen - how's the knee?

When it comes to DIY I need to be told how not to burn water :o

But I put up a coat rack a few weeks ago and it hasn't fallen down (very light coats :rotfl:)

*Goes off, completely lacks duffle coat, tries with OH's heavy wool greatcoat, and it doesn't wobble. Nearly pass out in amazement and float back to the computer*

The coat racks seems solid enough.

(Think that calls for a drink!) (But not from the fridge because the top two shelves on the door are now boogered because the little plastic thingy has snapped off and got lost. Sigh)
