i Am divorced female and my husband hA a number of possesions which belong to me (furniture LCD TV) etc.
Obviuosley i am entitled to get them back via a court but many of the possesions may have deteriated in value. Is there anyway i can demand the value of the possesions rather then the possesions themselves.

Is the divorced finalised - you have a decree absolute and the Court Order for the financial settlement?
If not, where are you in the process and are you still negotiating the financial side of things?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

Why do you think they belong to you? If you purchased them before or during your marriage then the items are deemed to be joint "assets" regardless of who pays.0

After your decree absolute, I think you will find that you are not entitled to the return of any possessions which the other party holds - unless the other party agrees for you to have them.0
