Rikki, you haven't said what your price range is, but...
Why don't you ring Lostwithiel tourist information centre) on 01208-872207
They do a small guide on the town (v. close to Eden Project and Lanhydrock) and have several hotels and inns.
Bodmin also has a TIC - I find they can point you in the right direction much more quickly than you can research it yourself.0 -

This is probably a bit immoral (taking advantage, but what the heck), but last October myself, husband and my parents went on a short break (3 days) to Clowance Country Club near Camborne on an offer from my American Express card. It's a Timeshare place so myself and hubby had to sit through a 90min presentation, but it was definately not hardsell and we had no intention of buying anything, so no problem.
However it is a BEAUTIFUL place and the Lodge we had was fantastic - whirlpool bath and sauna!! Tickets and transport to the Eden Project were included in the cost for the weekend - £99 per person!!
I've just looked at their website (https://www.clowance.co.uk) and they are still doing these inspection visits - it's definitely worth considering provided you can resist the temptation to buy into the Timeshare part. I have to say, we enjoyed it so much, despite our resolution not to buy and the lack of hard sell that even we were tempted to invest. However on researching timeshare at home later I'm glad we didn't. Hope this helps0 -
I don't have a price range as such. Its more of finding what I want and seeing if it justifies the price.

paulac.. I like this idea, but its not for this time. After loosing a newly trained employee which resulted in our 1st holiday abroad in years not being possible we just want to get away, chill and unwind.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4
