Hi all, We're decorating our dd's bedroom but as we removed the old border it took a layer of paint with it. We've done our best at trying to sand it but it is still a bit uneven, any tips gratefully recieved. Thanks in advance x

You could try filling the hole with a fine filler, then use a fine piece of sandpaper to rub it down afterwards.0

I agree with jason, but I expect you have this all the way round the room, it cant be helped, borders do this.
Even though you sanded, you will get slight indents from where the old paint came off with it, so these have to be filled.
Dont use the readymade one, you will lose the will to live, get some polyfiller and knock it up yourself.
Heres a little tip......
If you are going round the whole room filling where the border is, I would suggest after you have sanded down, dont roll on this filler.
Dilute a little of your room colour emulsion, then go round painting where you have filled with a brush, after its dried, then you can start the rolling.:D0 -
Big B&Q sell gyproc readymix filler its 13 quid.... its the best filler on the market cos its a doddle to sand down
You wont even use a tenth of the bucket but at 13 quid for smart looking walls who cares ??
flog the rest to your mate/family for a tenner!0
