Football Club Credit Card MBNA Question

I am considering applying for the 'Tottenham Hotspur' MBNA Visa Card. I will get 0% on balance transfers for 9 months.
However I currently have an MBNA Platinum Mastercard, so will this affect my application?
I do not want to transfer any balance from the MBNA Platinum Card. I would like to transfer the balance from my Wanadoo Marbles Mastercard.
Thanks

I only have 1 MBNA card, but others have said they get low credit limits when getting additional MBNA cards.
However I gather you can ask to combine the credit limits later, i.e. canceling the old card and having the credit limited added to the new one.0 -

Mortgage July 2007 - £0

correct. We had a virgin card £12000 limit, and when we applied for a second MBNA card theye said we could trasnfer this limit to the new card, and close virgon card down. You may be OK having two if your current limit is quite low compared to earnings /debts. How long have you had the first mbna card - if not very long the limit might still be quite low.0

It may be because I applied for two at the same time, but I applied direct to MBNA for their 0% for 9months card and got accepted with a 7.5K limit. Then a week later got accepted by Abbey (on the MBNA 0% for 9 months card) with a credit limit of 10K.
This may be just because the applications both went through before they received the signed acceptance forms (but there was about a week's delay between the applications so you would have thought MBNA would have noticed the two applications from the same person?).
Anyway, spoke to MBNA about the first one today and apparently it's been processed and the card should be on it's way (with no mention so far of a change to any credit limit) So fingers crossed for the Abbey one.0 -
