Nationwide Savings

Hi,
I currently bank with Nationwide and have an e-savings account with them. The savings account can been seen through my online banking but I am wondering if it is possible to set up another savings account with them so I can view that online as well with my other existing accounts?
I have had a look on the website and can't seem to find anything so does anyone know if this is possible? I know you can do it with ING.
Thanks in advance

I don't quite understand your question. You can open as many e-savings accounts as you like, and view them all online (click on the Apply tab when you are logged in). So if you are wanting to open another account, then you can do that.
If you open any other Nationwide account, even a branch account, you will be able to view it via. online banking also.
I hope that helps.0 -
Do you mean a second e-savings account? (You can open those)
To add an account already opened but not showing there is a way of requesting that online too.
To open a new account, just login and click on the 'Apply Online' tab at the top of the screen......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
You have both answered my question! (I want to create another e-savings account online and be able to view it through the online banking).

I have several accounts showing on my Nationwide screen. Two Flex (current) accounts, one joint, one in my name. Two E Savings accounts, similar to Flex accounts. Over 60s joint account, and an ISA and Tessa, which are in the process of being transferred. Also the Nationwide credit card balance is displayed on the same screen.
Good luck0 -
Thanks for asking the question Jaymz and thanks all for the replies. I have a joint account Flexaccount and an InvestDirect I access online. The InvestDirect is in my name as I am a non-taxpayer and my oh is higher-rate. I want to set up another Flexaccount in my name and open e-savings from that to get a better rate and keep it in my name.
I take it that if I can view all these accounts online, I can switch money between them online too?0 -
You need to go via a flexaccount to move the money between accounts, but yes it can be done easily and quickly onlineNoobie (not so
) trying to make loads a dosh - please bear with all my questions  Thanks

I have also got a flex a/c plus two fixed rate bonds, a savings a/c and a credit card. However I have to log in separately to see the credit card balance - how come you get it on the same screen?
The other annoying thing is that it doesnt show which items are in joint names and which are in my name.0 -
The credit card is in my name - I don't know whether that would make any difference. The savings accounts are listed down the screen and the credit card balance at the top right. If you click on 'credit card' balance it takes you to the screen which details transactions. I'm not sure whether you have to add the credit card yourself or whether it just appeared when I took the card out.
I can only see my own and joint accounts on the screen. In order to see OH's Nationwide accounts he would also have to sign up for online banking and he would have to log in separately. As he doesn't use PCs much we do most things in my name.
Good luck0 -
Wow, that was a quick reply. Our credit card and flex account is in joint names and bonds might be joint or my name - cant remember which is why I hoped they would say. Definitely cant get credit card balance on same page - might have to ring them.
Thanks0 -
If online banking is in your name and credit card has your OH as main card holder, that might make a difference. We used to have current account and credit card with HSBC but because online banking was in my name and OH was main credit card holder, the two accounts couldn't be shown together.
When we moved to Nationwide it seemed a good idea to have the credit card in my name for this reason. OH not really interested in PCs. Strange person!0
