Egg card - how long before re-applying

Hi everyone,
I had an egg card which I cancelled a while ago. It's showing settled on 31/07/2006 on my credit report so I guess that's when it was cancelled.
Any idea how long I have to leave it before applying for another one?
Will give me another balance transfer?
Looks like my credit limit at the time was £15,000 - is that a max limit or should I ask for more? It was one of my first stooze cards and I probably thought it was cheeky asking for that.
I currently have MBNA, Barclaycard and purchases on Halifax.
Think Egg runs their own?
I've a few other accounts with Egg.

It's a 12 month wait.
If the card is still showing in your secure area you'll have to ring them and ask them to remove it first before you apply.
Might be an idea to ring customer services anyway, just to make sure there are no problems (meaning a second search might be required) when you re-apply.
Always apply on the first of the month for this product to maximise the intro period (works out well for you anyway by the looks of it).
Egg are now part of CitiGroup, and have been for around 12 months now...although I was still able to BT between the two late last year.
The other Egg accounts may help acceptance, and hopefully secure a good credit limit. Consider 'beefing up' your Egg Savings balance prior to application?
Not sure of the maximum credit limit, but I seem to remember they wouldn't let you go above £20K total if you had both Egg Card and Egg Money. Certainly was the case for me with £15K and £5K respectively.0 -
My Egg money limit is £8000. I mostly use it for transfers - you're saying I should request this reduced to maybe £3000 which might give me £17,000 on the egg card?0
