Ive just found a tin of prunes in my cupboard, so apart from warming them through, and having them with custard, what can i do with them?

Hiya catowen, you could chop them up and put them into a sticky toffee cake (i think?) :
Your bananaloaf recipe is now being enjoyed by my visitors, and I have to make it when I know they are coming lol.If you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0 -
put them in a crumble with other fruit
I'm sure someone, somewhere will have a recipe for a prune cake or prune pudding of some kind. I know prunes and walnuts are a good combo0 -
If they aren't in syrup they'd be good in a meat casserole. Rabbit is good with prunes. Also Morrocan style meat tagines often have prunes in them.0

Wild rabbits cost about £4 at my butcher and feed all 5 of us
There as free range as you could possibly want and have eaten a natural diet. If you eat meat I can't think of anything more ethical:) 0 -
I love rabbit:)
Can't get it at any of the butchers close to me though

Recently I used a recipe for date loaf but substituted the dates for prunes. It was lovely. I think nicer than the dates.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.
