Have a look again and scroll down if need be.
or
Have a look again Start | Run | type Msconfig | Startup.
It may not be an obvious Supanet wording, but more likely an abbreviated item.
Download Startup Inspector from here.... http://www.windowsstartup.com/startupinspector.php
When installed, press the consult tab while your online, and it will give you information on what's required and what's not.0 -
I used to have this problem on an old computer I got from Time (no sniggering!!) In the end I had to edit the registry to get rid of it. Now I'm no expert but I used regedit and search. Every trace of Supanet I came across in there was deleted and voila no more supanet!
As for the startup option, I had tried doing that, but for some mysterious reason it never appeared amongst the list of programmes - no idea why.FB :heartpuls Wiggly

Try right clicking on the pop-up and selecting "Properties", can you find the location of a .exe from there? Otherwise, search for a file named isetup.exe.
On my Time PC, I searched for all files related to Supanet and deleted them. This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

I had a similar problem with a TIME PC running Windows ME after doing a restore master image run.
In WIN ME all I had to do was go into C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Connection Wizard and there was a file there called supanet.
I deleted that file and, hey presto, problem gone!
May be a similar file and directory in XP?0
