hi, ive had a new desktop pc for a few months, it has a 19" cibox widescreen lcd monitor, and for the past week something weird is happening with it.
The top 1/3 of the screen is distorted, so if im on the net, i can see the top of the page, but its all faded as if the pixels are wrong.
Ive tried changing the resolution etc, and doing the auto adjust, ive even tried unplugging the monitor, but its still there.
Its really annoying and ive got my internet minimized right down, so i can see the full pages
Can anyone help??

Well all the 19" widescreens i've ever seen run at 1440x900 res, from specs "60Hz" seems to be the failsafe refresh, and check the cabling
if you have all that likely to be a duffen. but think they came with 3 yr warrenty so check on thatclick here to achieve nothing!0 -
Turn the PC off and make 100% sure that all the monitor cables are 100% seated correctly in the back of your pc and the monitor.
Do you have another monitor you can plug into the pc to check that its a problem with the monitor or maybe a graphics card issue?
The PC is under warranty im sure if its only a few months old so you should be able to get a replacement fairly easily.
Might also be worth running some virus scans just to rule out any possible virus but i think that might be unlikely. When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.0
