Hi, i read forums to see if i have a network adaptor.

I went to device manager and extended network adaptors. underneath it it says "Bluetooth PAN network Adaptor and also Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection"

Do i already have a network adaptor then or do i get a wireless adaptor from the shop ? Thanks:confused:

Why not just look at the back of your PC? :)

But yes, it seems you have.

you need a ethernet cable to connect your pc to a router/modem

The port is exactly the same whether on a desktop or laptop... don't try to confuse matters :)

Yes. Normally the router has 3/4 sockets to use wired devices as well as sending out a wireless signal.
