In November of last year some kindly soul crashed into my car whilst it was parked and drove off.I contacted my insurance company, can`t say which ``Oh Yes``I can`t--lol.I took it to their approved dealer and had the repair undertaken and I payed the full amount with the agreement from the insurer that I would be sent a cheque less my excess.

Despite various phone calls I still have not received a penny.

Id be calling them up again, or maybe write a letter, i would have contacted them before now, theyve had long enough

Hi pobby - I'm in the same boat (November accident) - apparently it's all in the hands of the Legal Dept - meanwhile I'm seriously out of pocket! I have had letters giving me updates, so I guess it just takes a long time.

Looks like you didn't get the third party though, whereas my insurer is still chasing them for money. In which case, your insurer should be faster than mine!

No police involved.
I have called on many occasions and keep getting told the garage hasn`t sent them the invoice.Anyway they 7 days in which to sort it!

I'd be tempted to call the garage to see what the delay is (and verify if the delay is with them).
