The Novotel is right at the terminal and you can get parking packages through eg ABC holiday extras. (The parking is not at the hotel BTW but there are free transfers to/from it)0

Hi stayed at Innkeepers Lodge at Sheldon last week end which is about 5 mins from airport. if you book it early enough it is £30.00 per room (sleeps 2). Very clean and comfortable and it includes breakfast at the Toby Inn next door, who do a cracking carvery for £5.00. hope this helps0

Yes, I would second that - taxi to airport about £5 -8, but the op wants parking facilities and it doesn't look like the lodge offers that.0 -
Parking at airport is only 29.90 for 10 days in August so it is probably cheaper to book the hotel and the carpark separately.0

Thanks very much for replies - the only reason I was thinking of staying overnight was the flight's at 9.20 am in the morning and we live in Leeds with an estimated journey time (from the Birmingham airport website) of 2 hours 40 minutes for that time in the morning. Last time we flew at that time was from Liverpool and that was estimated at 1 hour 20 minutes and we had to get up at 5 o'clock to set off at 6. However, we have 2 young children who would have to share our hotel room so from one past experience of sleeping 'en famille' all in the same room maybe we'd be better just getting up extra early and actually get more sleep!0
