car hire, Nice airport 14/06 to 28/06 ?

looking for a discount code, or deal, for any of the hire companies at that airport

preferably a compact or bigger, with aircon, and under £250 if possible
would really like an automatic but can't find anything for less than £390

have tried carrentals.co.uk but are there any others I could try ?

finally, is there any way to find out what car I'm likely to be assigned in any group ?

Try going through the flybe.com website.

Something like a Citroen C3 is coming out about £260, a Corsa a bit less.

If you want something bigger, the prices start to go through the roof. And as for automatics-forget it, you're unlikely to find one, and if you do, it will cost a fortune.

You are unlikely be able to specify the exact model you will get, but a friendly email to the rental office after booking, or a few days before you travel might be worth a try.
