I've just upgraded to AVG 8 Free and noticed it has stopped Egg Money Manager from accessing my external accounts.

Does anyone know how to put this right (without uninstalling AVG 8)?

I can't tell you how to put this right and can only assume AVG regard the
Money Manager as a security risk. I tried using it but found that a lot of the companies I have investments with don't allow access anyway so there was no point. If you want to keep a track of your money and investments Trustnet have a great system.
  • Turn off the UAC setting. This is within Vista Control Panel, User Security settings and under User Access Control option. Re-enter your account login details. Then turn on the UAC and reboot PC.
