my daughter will be in shared rented accom in her 2nd year,been in halls this year,any tips on contents insurance,quotes so far are coming out at £150,is it possible to add to our home ins.?

As far as im aware you cannot add onto your house insurance as she wont be living with you...i paid £80 for the year with endsleigh who specialise in student insurance, have you tried them?Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0

You may not be able to add her on and even if you can it might be cheaper going to a student insurer. Try:
