Oooo good luck with the job applications Nicki.

I need to look into cheaper gas because my boiler system is ancient and very high cost. I have no thermostat on my heating so if its on, its on full blast. Its a nightmare. I have been on at the council for 4 years to change it, each year i get told to wait until next financial year. I dont think its going to make any difference where i go.

I will just have to stock up on jumpers this year. :rotfl:

Thanks Amy, I've just applied for another one... I'm on a roll lol. You should have a sit in at your council or something, I can't believe you don't have a thermostat! Every time our boiler is serviced we get told it doesn't meet current regulations and so on... it's as old as the house (21) so it's probably really inefficient too. It's a shame they cost so much to replace.

The council are rubbish where I am.

I have had so many problems with them over the past 8 months relating to my balcony. Long story, but they want me to pay £3K in costs. Luckily i work for a firm of surveyors who have basically helped me tell the council to stick it! :p

Well done you on the job applications. :D

Thanks Jen, if I don't get replies soon I'm going to try temp work to tide me over for a while. I never did the b view thing, I wasn't sure what to review, aren't you normally supposed to do 20 reviews for the £10 or am I imagining it?
