I'm sorry to hear bout your OH being made redundant MM. Can he start looking for new work now, so once he leaves he will be able to go straight into a new job? i know finding a new suitable job isn't always so straight forward, how long does he have before he leaves?

next Wednesday! And then he has to go in hospital thurs for dental work , not his week! I'm sure he will find one soon.
Jen, really don't know what to advise but if you are worried then u are going to have to speak to social services, what would he be like if u spoke to him? If u think u would be in any danger best to let someone else handle it.

  • Hi all, thanks for your kind words, feeling a lot calmer now! Sent him an email asking for clarification last night cos he said that we should keep looking for someone to move in and someone wanted to look tonight but haven't had a reply.

As for the money, £330 is REALLY cheap for a room in London (and I don't want to go any further out). If we wanted somewhere by ourselves it would be aobut £1000 (and trust me I've looked for them before). Even moveing into a 3 bed place that we looked at a while ago we were looking at £600-£800 a month!!!!

I have also decided that I have wanted to move out for so long and this may be a good time to bite the bullet and do it! Still trying to talk the OH round though!

So that's where I am today! Hope everyone else is a bit more stable! Hayley - good luck for tomorrow, glad you were feeling a little more confident today, just carry that through with you to the test!

Jen, sorry to hear about DDs father, would getting it out in the open help? Then at least it's off your chest!

Amy, glad you haven't deserted us! and that you are feeling better!

Alright, been typing this for ages so better post it!
