  • Grrr, gotta get this off my chest even if no-ones here

Got a phone call from landlord cos a room in our house has been empty for 2 months (its a pretty carp house so not surprised) and he said if someone else is moving out in july/august (another flatmate is moving in the first week of august) then he'd be better to empty the whole place, renovate and re-rent as a whole house instead of the individual rooms it is now! Was pretty upset as we have been here for nearly 4 years, and we only pay £330/month rent for our double room with shared lounge/kitchen/bathroom. And I just don't want to deal with the whole moving thing! But I'd also be glad to move out cos the house is not nice and I have to collect all the rent (this was decided last time the landlord threatened to kick us out), all bills are in my name and its me that misses out if someone moves out and doesn't pay. Still, I just don't want to deal with it!

Apologies for the rant, had to get that off my chest!

    Mornings guys,

Well another day, another drive. I've got 3hrs this morning, was meant to be at 8am i start but she's running late, and i've got 2hrs this afternoon. I said to her yesterday i need at least 2hrs break in the middle.

What a pain Aussie. I hope you manage to find somewhere. Maybe a nice cosy flat could be nice? just you and your OH, surely that must be near what you pay now. Does what you pay now include council tax?

amy - i hope you come back soon, don't let what others say get to you. Nothing wrong with being a hugger!!!

Morning everyone, am a bit down about not having a job today. I'm going to town on Friday to go around all the recruitment places I can find, I need the money so I think I'm just going to have to get a cr*p job whilst I think about what I actually want to do.

I'm sorry about your house Aussie, I hope you can find something else soon. I wish housing wasn't so expensive, in Brighton the cheapest one bed flat is still about £650-700 :(. Good luck with your driving today Hayley, I hope it is better than yesterday. Oh, and keep plugging away on slice the pie Jen :).

    Hi Nichelette,

When i was a temp i used to quite enjoy it, working for different companies meeting new people and making lotsa new friends. I hope you find something Nichelette. Is there anything you are particulary strong at?

I had 3hrs drivng this morning and it went okay. I managed to do a parallel park, reverse around corner and bay park, so things are looking up. I remember to check my mirrors more too. I have another 2hrs this afternoon, so fingers cross i do as well as i did this morning. If i get a parallel park and turn in the road i will be fine, but knowing my luck i'll get the two i hate most, bay park and reverse around corner. I can't wait for tomorrow to be over, decided now that if i fail i'm going to put in for my test again straight away and keep at it. I shouldn't give up, my mate passed her test on her 8th go, so shouldn't be soo upset if i fail my first.

It's very boring being off work whilst all your friends are working. I'm only off this week because of my driving course, otherwise i normally take the same weeks off as my OH. We are off to Italy next week, and Alton Towers when we get back- yay!!!

Well done Jen, you're doing brilliantly at slice the pie. If only i was more like you when it came to reviewing songs.
