I must say i had massive problems with them about 5 years ago, and then it was all good and I have had no problems since. Until recently.
I will deffo be asking compensation, its getting stupid now.
And my whole saga with my tax rebate is irritating me as well. :mad:Debt: just my mortgage

Not another one with tax probs, jen's nightmare was enough (the promised refund then not geting one thing) whats the matter with yours?0

Well i was on emergency tax for a while this year (January/Feb/March) and some time last year as well. This means I know I am due a rebate.
I contacted the Tax Office months ago and was told to write a letter detailing everything and send a copy of my last P45. I did this. I phoned up a couple of weeks later to be told there was a 6 week turnaround wait for them to even read my letter, let alone deal with it. I waited. Saturday I got a letter from them asking me to send them my P60.
I spoke to my current employer's accountant today, who said that I wasnt put on their payroll within that tax year (i was paid by cheque) so I would need to speak to my last employer.
I did this, and they said that I can only get my P60 from the employer i was with when the tax year ended (which makes more sense).
I have emailed the accountants again, and they are ignoring me.
I know now that even when i get the P60 its going to take at least another 6 weeks for the Tax Office to read the letter. Its just so frustrating.

Not having a good time of it are you Amy. Are your accountants based in your office? might be worth going in and having a polite word, as it believe its them who would give you your P60.0

Not at the moment, no! I feel like going home, demolishing the remainder of the choccie cake, and sleeping... lots! :rotfl:
Unfortunately they are external accountants, we are only a small office.
I will give her a call tomorrow morning. Im afraid i may rant if i speak to her now :rotfl:

everything regarding tax is such a nightmare, hope it does get sorted for you soon, at least it will be a boost to your debt payment when it does actually arrive i suppose.
I'm a bit bored ,was thinking of opening my sealed pot (its a huge tin and its going to take til 2012 to fill it) paying whats in it off my debt and then going back to my little piggy bank that i should be able to fill again by the end of this challenge.
The tin only cost me 50p from a cheap shop so its not a tragic loss and it takes up most of my bedside table!!0
