How do I have an e-commerce site for free?

Hi all - as above really; is this possible, to have a no-frills online shop for free?

I'm getting married this year and will be selling the photos (not for profit btw!) ourselves as our photographer is going to be handing us the copyright free disk at the end of the day.

We just need a facility to be able to sell them, or at least accept orders online, not necessarily for them to pay online....

As far as I know no. You either pay for software or a monthly fee to a host which is usually 12 months contract. What about using paypal? You could set up a free website (plenty of places give you limited free webspace - try googling) then you create a page with your pics on and create a paypal button to pay. You'll lose 2% or whatever it is paypal charge but it's free.

You can get a free shopping cart from Mal's Ecommerce. I have used it and it's fine, although you do need some knowledge of html programming to set up your "buy" buttons.
