hey, I have recently ordered this for my bedroom, mainly for my 360 but also wanted to get setanta 1, 2 and Arsenal tv. My TV should arrive next week which has an inbuilt freeview player.

however, after looking at the setanta website I realised that I would only get setanta 1, is that right? and if i got sky i could get the channels I wanted and some more? If so I find that annoying as I am just a college student!
if that was correct though, does that mean if I brought sky pay once package for £75, and then got setanta would I have all channels?
thanks in advance

I think you need a CAM slot in your TV to subscribe to Setanta sports on Freeview, as far as I can see the one you are buying does not have one, otherwise you need a separate freeview box with a card slot.
Satellite would be the most flexible platform, you could go for the freesat from Sky offering, but be aware that the new BBC satellite freeview platform launches shortly and I guess Setanta would be available there too.

Have another look at setantas website, AFAIK its not free via sky either u still have to pay a sub, and, you need a freeview box with a decryption card facility not just any freeview setupclick here to achieve nothing!0

Indeed its a subscription service that you pay for over and above any Sky subscription,
But beware of Setanta:
"You can check out anytime but you can never leave!"
Check out other Setanta threads. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
