As a diabetic with a sugar addiction I was interested in these berries too until I saw the price - however doing research on the net I think I'm going to try agave which is low GI/GL - therefore ideal for diabetics - and see what it does for me - I've already found a recipe for chocolate icecream:

I would seriously consider staying away from artificial sweetners as they can have horrific side effects!

Yeah the miracle berry is used for so many different things, from diabetics organically controlling their sugar intake, Chefs making amazing food creations which taste great, even sugarless desserts, it encourages healthy eating instead of snacking on unhealthy food since in one sitting you'll eat a lot of fruit and veg and organic foods.
