I sometimes put bottles/ cans in the freezer to cool them down quickly when I just can't wait for the fridge to cool them down!
If you leave them in too long, the beer will freeze. You don't get an explosion as such, but the glass will shatter and you will get bits in your freezer.0 -

I'm 6 months pregnant, plus beer's really not my drink.
I tried washing my hair with it last time, it didn't seem to do much to it though. Just seems a shame to waste it.0 -
Sorry slightly off topic. OH and I have just had a bottle of wine we put in the freezer after dr who, and it certainly froze ok. Lovely like slush puppy pinot grigiot! I'm sure beer would freeze fine. Think the bottle would have cracked but we caught it in time! Phew.......True MSE'r -Money Spending Expert0

There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

A teacher told us how to freeze distil using cider - sure it would work for beer. Basically, what does not freeze is drained off and there is your super strong drink. No idea what it would taste like, mind!0
