I'll be more gutted than I can describe if they have.........it's around £400 worth of carpet. It's been on my mind for weeks now
The coving, ceiling, paintwork etc have all been undercoated so that's it for today.
OH has said to book the carpet in for about a weeks time.
He has just said - if you're using it as an office you maybe should have a hard floor?? AARRGHHH!!! NO - I don't want a hard floor!!!!!!! I've bought bloody carpet!!!!!!!!!! (I thought!)
What a stupid thing to say when he knows about the situation with the carpet and him not getting off his !!! to do the work!!!!!

Hard floor is nice, but it can gather dust very easily and can get awfully cold in the winter time. I know that you know this, I'm not patronising...it's just I had a wooden floor at my parents' in the past - I'm still bitterlol
Turned out lovely and sunny here this afternoon...full on sun tomorrow apparently.I'm the only gay in this forum

and I've got concrete floors which are elevated above the outside ground (I'm on a sloping site) so the breeze doesn't half come up through the floor in the winter!!
