Is it me or have tinned peas gone really awful?

I could have written your post. We to had awful tinned peas and carrots. Also smash which my mum used to pretend was real potatoe that she had coked herself. It was truly awful. My DH loves smash but there is no way i will make it for him.:DWeren't tinned peas always awful? I remember my mum used to give them to us, along with tinned carrots and smash when we were camping. Ugh!
I've had the odd tin of mushy peas, ok, but not like the ones you do yourself.When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile
