My Mum sent her application and cheque off to the Head Office on 14th April, and only received the confirmation and passbook through a day or two ago.
Think when I spoke to someone at a branch they said the HO had a huge backlog0 -
Thats why I sent my application to a branch. I sent it to the St Albans branch on a Saturday, they received and processed it on Monday and I receved my passbook 1st class post on Tuesday.0

My OH opened his fxed rate ISA account 2 or 3 weeks ago and it was done immediately, the assistant gave him his passbook straight away. Further information came in the post a few days later.
Friendly and excellent service.0 -
