Hi all.
Want to buy my OH some photo editing software as a present. He loves the 'colour splash' effect that you can get, but I'm not sure which software has this option.
The colour splash effect I mean is when the main photo is black & white and one piece is picked out in colour.
Any one have any knowledge on this sort of thing?

Found this site where you can do it online and you only have to put in an email address. I uploaded this colour picture, turned it B&W then picked out bits I wanted in colour. Really easy. You can save the images back to your pc.

You can use the power of Photoshop for free, via Photoshop Express by Adobe which needs an internet connection.
Alternative the GIMP as previously mentioned and Paint.net
