BTW... I watched the programme, remembered it instantly when I got The Money Diet. It's ridiculous how many people only care about how their cards look. I'm going to be careful when looking at the people trying to sell stuff to you at the Harlequin in Watford in future.

Just goes to show how many ways companies find of trying to MACSimise their profits!

"Swodniw" doesn't flow off the tongue quite as well as "Scam", but I have to agree with the sentiment!

There is no mention of how many MACS points you need to claim the rewards. You might need 10 million for a golf lesson?

Annual Fee - free if your spend £1000 pa, but the £30 fee is not made clear whether that is PA or could be a monthly £30 fee?

Payment protection is not mentioned, but looks to be included as standard reading the minimum payments terms.

"Letter Fee = £10" - which means they can write to you about anything they like and charge you £10 for the service.

Interest free period does not apply.

And even if they did, the T&Cs that will come with the application form, can be totally different to these anyway - "The information contained in this table summarises key product features and is not intended to replace any Agreement Terms which will be provided with application forms."
