my mobile phone k800 has died all my photos are on the phone not on a memory stick anyone any idea of how to get them off:eek:

A lot depends on how it has failed - if the failure is not on the main board (e.g. the battery or the screen has failed), then it may be possible to replace that part and retain the board - with the built-in memory. Take it to a S/E service centre and explain - be prepared for it to cost a lot more than the phone is worth.

It is also possible to DIY some repairs - I replaced the on/off switch on my Nokia after it had gone for a swim in a pint of Fullers, but it is very fiddly and time-consuming, as almost all the components are Surface Mount these days.

Technically it should be possible to remove the memory chip from the main board and solder it onto another, but in reality it probably isn't practical - IMO the cost would be astronomical.

try charging the battery first, if its still not working, does the phone show any signs of life? (eg white screen when you turn it on, red blinking light in infrared port when power button is pressed, vibration etc)
