I wouldn't personally be worried if it was only a week. What did they say when you opened it?

I wouldnt worry either - it can take more than a week and there might be a slight delay with the bank holiday

Oh your on about the websaver with a card - stupid idea. They always paid the higher interest without a card and then swapped it over

Do they allow you to say that at work? ;)

DO you receive the card first or the PIN first?

just cause i work there - I have never kept that a secret since i joined this site. I left this site for comments like this, have returned only last week. i

I doesn't mean that I agree with everything they do and with every product T&C's. I am a customer/consumer too.
Just as this new payments system has teething problems, which should have been sorted before.

we don't open this is branch as its an online account (although we can open a websaver but then customer add the account to their internet profile the next day but ... it doesnt give you the option for the card, or the websaver extra)

I mean factually the reason an online account was supposed to pay more interest was for not using the branch or having a card - but then they have contradicted it by paying a bonus on the websaver with a card at present, which is higher than the websaver without a card.

Er, regularsaver1, it was a joke ... (I put 2 wink smilies on the post, for goodness sake!)

If you had felt inclined to make a comment in response, I would have expected something along the lines of "They don't own my thoughts ..." (coupled with some smilies) or some such ...

Sorry you took it the wrong way.
