Smell when washer on?????

Hi all,

Ok i've tried everything. But when i run my washer i get a really strong smell of bad egg. It seems to be coming from the plug so i've poured bleach, bi card, lemon juice ohhh just about everything down the sink to stop the smell but nothing works. I've removed the u bend under the sink and cleaned it out so i know its nothing blocked???? Have cleaned the filter too.

Ive run the washer on empty with bleach in thinking it might be something inside the washer but still its there!!!

The washer is a servis and just over a year old.

Any ideas?? am at the end of my tether with this.

Thanks all, have a good bank holiday xxx

Is this a dishwasher, clothes washer or what?
You might have to call out Dynarod man. Or maybe your local Environmental Health department could advise?

you could try one of the old moneysaving ideas about putting it through a bleach wash, if its a washing machine.

if its a dish washer, try one of the cleaning products

I'd check the drain outside where it runs out to. I get it in my bathroom sink upstairs but not in my kitchen sink (?). Turned out to be a bit of a block in the drain outside.

Possibly have a word with the council/water board too coz if it's not your drain, it could be coming from a drain further up in the road & they can send a contractor out to clear any blockages. They'll still come out to check their own drains anyway.
