hsbc charging for over drafts

I've just received a letter from hsbc asking for £25 for the use of an over draft even when I'm in credit and because I'm likely in the next few months to go into it - because my wage will remain fixed and the cost of living is rising quickly. they will also charge interest on the amount that the over draft is as well -…

Tell them you dont want an overdraft facility and you wont need to pay the fee.

This charge is part of the changes you are going to see as more of the charges are packaged as admin charges rather than penalty charges. This is what the consumers that have complained about bank charges wanted.
