  • I was wanting to ask the question too, my insurance is due soon (not had my renewal quote yet though) and Yes are topping the comparison sites and offer £50 cashback via Quidco, but I've never heard of anybody who has dealt with them. Like you I've never had any claims in the past.

Yes car, van & home insurance is administered by Budget Insurance. They also sell insurance on behalf of many other organisations. Budget are a respectable and well known insurer, and the customer service between the brands they deal with does not differ.

If Yes have the best quote for you then I would say go with them.

& if it makes anyone feel any better, Budget also sell insurance on behalf of M&S and the Post Office (to name a few). You can check all of this info by looking on the 'about us' , 'important info' etc links at the bottom of any the web pages for the above insurance companies. You will see it mentions BISL (budget insurance services ltd) which is the name they use to provide insurance products under.

just reminded me to come back to this thread as i did all of my comparisons through the sites like martin suggests then my dad mentioned to try CIS - cooperative.

I did and i got it even cheaper with protected bo claims etc - the cashback through quidco is £70 but not great tracking results so a bonus if it comes through etc..

Was just going to say try getting quotes for the ones via quidco not just the comparison sites as ive also halved my home insurance through them too..hopefully with £90 cashback :D
