CPS and short code access

I am thinking of switching to justdailsaver to get free evening and weekend 01/02 calls. Can i then continue to use 18866 as normal for daytime calls (with the bt override 1280 first)? What happens with 0800/0808 and 0844/0871 calls - do I dial the bt override 1280 first for these?
I think....

  • You don't need to use the BT over-ride before dialing 18866 as those calls will automatically be charged to 18866, same with 0800 calls just put them through your CPS.

As Edinburghlass has said you don't need to dial BT override 1280 first. Just dial 18866 as normal. Freephone calls just dial as normal without any over-ride code but for 084x and 087x numbers it is best to dial the 1280 over-ride code or use an alternative carrier for these calls.

I Already use Justdial and no need to use BT overide number, just use Justdial as you would use BT.

I was referring to 084x and 087x numbers only because they are cheaper on BT and a few other carriers but most other carriers charge higher for 084x and 087x numbers than BT due to how the revenue sharing works.
