Buyer paid after FVF granted

Sold a collectible item 3 weeks ago, had no contact with the buyer at all. After 7 days opened a NPB dispute, after a further 8 days with no contact I closed the dispute because I no longer wanted to wait. I was granted a FVF credit and the buyer got a NPB strike.

Now 3 days after the dispute was closed I have recived payment for the item via paypal.

Should I refund the payment or should I post the item? If I post the item is there anyway of notifiying ebay that the buyer has paid? Can the NPB strike and the FVF credit be reversed? :confused:
:D All I want is an opportunity to prove that money doesn't buy happiness :D

    Personally I would not deal with the buyer now. Instead return the payment and explain that item is no longer available for them to purchase.

    I'd be happy about that, and would be off to post the item :cool:

    I agree with Soo. Tell them they have lost the right to buy the item and refund them.

    There is a good chance they will soon want the unpaid item strike removed by you and then they can Neg you and perhaps just get revenge on you by making life very difficult. I would not trust them.

    Personally - i would refund for the two reasons;

    1, it took them a while to pay you
    2, you did a NPB strike and they might claim they have not recieved the item they paid for.

    I would relist, and block them from bidding in the future.

    Thanks everyone

    Will refund the money and relist. They can keep their NPB strike ;)
