Sending skis with a courier

I need to send skis to an address in UK mainlaind, they are almost 2 meters in length.

What service would you recommend, most of the couriers mentioned in the MSE article accept max 150 cm parcels.

Thanks.

thanks, according to their website it would cost me circa £40-60 for these dimensions .. snowboards are normally less than 150cm, aren't they ?

Try Interparcel. I sent a pair of car side skirts which measured 183cm long to my buyer and cost me 11.47.

    I have the same problem.
I want to send a pair of skis with bindings within the UK
I notice that most sellers on ebay are sending skis for around £15 to £20.
I asked a couple and they said they use parcelforce
They obviously havent done their homework becaus Parcelforce take only maximum of 150cm
other delivery companies quote £36 upwards
Does anyone know where I can get it cheaper?

Try TNT UK Express service from InterParcel...that is £9.35 + vat next day, assuming 200cm long, 20cm wide, 10cm deep and 5kg weight. Never skied so those might be way out but I wouldn't have thought the price would jump that dramatically either way!
