Looking to take cottage holiday with dog

Within a couple hours drive from South Wales late June time, anyone any ideas where the best place to find pet friendly reasonably priced cottages/caravans?
Thanks in advance

I use www.cottages4you.co.uk as well, they cover Welcome and Country cottages as well.
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.

I recommend WELCOME COTTAGES type it in google and theres site will come up. In Feb me and hubby got married, but we wanted to take the dogs. If you go to the search bit you can put in areas you want, if they allow pets or children etc. Even if it has an enclosed garden to go with it.
We went to Scotland for a week and it was amazing, was perfect being somewhere the dogs were allowed! Only downside was the rain lol. But even that didnt stop us going for big walks, and I was preg then too!

We stayed here last month with our dog suitable for two.

Great setting and a delight. Just PM me if I can offer any help.

Slightly longer than a couple of hours drive, we've been to Sandy Balls (New Forest) and Oakdene (Dorset - bordering New Forest). Both have caravans and lodges to offer.

We used the dogs trust website earlier in the year-was great- thought it was worth mentioning that the cottages are the same as on the 'welcome' site but the dogs trust get a percentage of the cost so it raises some funds for the charity too.

We stayed in a lovely bungalow in Woolacombe North Devon with our dog. We rented it from Marsdens. From reading the visitors book it looks like loads of other people had enjoyed their holidays there with their dogs.
  • OK, we found somewhere - have just returned from a break with the dog in Dorset, it was absolutely fantastic
Lovely converted barn called Meadow View, was stunning, even nicer than the website and very reasonable

    Will deff. be going back

Dog exhausted, been alseep since we returned home(first time ever)

Barn very well equiped in a lovely quiet village with a gorgeous pub that welcomes dogs, what more could we have wanted!!
