Really heavy tent to post-advice please!

Hi all
i have a very large heavy tent that i am wanting to sell on ebay. have looked at what others are charging for same tent to post and it seems to be around £20. when i had a look on a few sites it was a lot more expensive to post than £20! which courier/delivery service do you recomend using? adding postage rather than local pick up only seems to make peeps more money
