Hi, i been a long time subcriber to the email for a while but this is my first time on the forums and I desperately need some help from anyone out there. I recently changed my car insurance from Easymoney to Vauxhall after 2 years with 5 years no claims and finally protected. which ment that Vauxhall wanted proof of the 5 years so after being a little forgetful and lack of trust in the post i finally sent off the renewal notice from easymoney to Vauxhall which stated on it the date of renewal the car i drive, my name and address and that i had 5 years no claims on the form. I then got a letter back today from Vauxhall saying that the renewal notice that i sent was not acceptable so i again rang them to clear up the matter. They then decided to call up easymoney while i was there to clear up the matter and put the girl on from easymoney on a conferance call so i can give her my details so they can tell the girl from Vauxhall the details from then which was ok till then. Then the girl from easymoney started to confirm that i had 5 yeras no claims with them but they could only confirm the last two years because they did't bother to prove the previous 3 years because she claimed they were an internet only company so no Vauxhall will only accept 2 of my 5 years no claims even though they have a renewal notice saying i have 5. Can someone please give me some ideas because unless this is sorted out i'm going to be forced to pay a couple of hundred pounds more because easymoney can't be asked to chase up their no claims!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to whoever insured you before easymoney and ask for proof of your 3 years no claims.:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:A

the only problem is that Vauhall claim that they can't take a proof of no claims from a previous, previous insurer lol0
