Injury Lawyers

I dont know if i am posting this in the right board (Sorry if it's not) but it was the closest one i could find to being relevant to what i want to know.

I had an accident at work a few weeks ago which resulted in a severely sprained ankle and a great deal of pain and discomfort. I was off work for a number of weeks.

I am considering making a claim and would have a very good case to do so. However, I wanted to know people's experiences and recommendations on this subject, who has a good reputation and who to use and who not to use etc (in your opinion!!).

Many thanks in advance.

Personally, I hate "ambulance chasers" and would always recommend you avoid them. My suggestion would be that you do the following first:

    1. Phone your home insurers and see if you have any Legal Expenses Insurance. If so, they should be willing to appoint a solicitor for you.

    2. If you don't have any joy with your home insurers, try your car insurers instead.

    3. If you are a member of a union, speak to the Rep as unions often have arrangements in place with solicitors.

    4. Speak to the Citizens Advice Bureau and see if they have a list of solicitors who will give you a free consultation.

I hope your ankle gets better soon.
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.
